How to add Whatsapp Template Message ?

To create a template message, first we need to login to our Twilio account. Than click Messaging on the left menu than Sender, after that click to the Whatsapp Template. Click to new message template button on top.

First you need to put a template name which won’t be shown to the customers. Than choose marketing and choose your language. I am going to choose English for this example.

Than type the message you want to send to your customers. You can change name’s dynamically if you want. To be able to do that, copy the example code on the bottom. I am gonna copy {{1}} for example. Than change the name with the code you copied from bottom. MetoCRM system will automatically change this code with the user’s name on the MetoCRM system.

Don’t make any changes on button part than click save template for Whatsapp approval. Now system is asking you an example for the dynamic area. So we just gonna put a random name for approval process.

Than you will see this template status. We will be waiting for approval. After our message is approved from Whatsapp we will be adding this message to the MetoCRM panel.

Now we can login to the MetoCRM. Than click to chat management than Official Templates from the left menu. Than click add on top right corner.

First we need to give this template a name to be able to choose while sending this message to the customer. Than choose the language. These languages are coming from MetoCRM’s System settings – Languages menu automatically. So if you can’t find your language on these options please go the Languages pages under system settings and add the language you want to use to the MetoCRM system.

Than I need to paste my message to the body area. This will be the message you gonna sent to your clients. So we created a dynamic area on Twilio so we should add a variable. Which will be user name. Than cut this code and change this with the dynamic value we have for the name.

Please make sure you don’t have any extra space before and after the message. 

Now only thing left to do is test this message. So now we will go to Chat page. Open a chat screen for a customers. If 24 hours passed from the last message i received from a patient you should see select a template button on bottom. Click here and choose the message we just added to the system. You will see your message with variable in place. Than send this message.

As you see MetoCRM will automatically change user name value with the user name we hava on the system. My username is test demo as you see from top right corner.

After our test are done, all of our user now can use this template message.
