How to add a Facebook ad form
Connecting a Facebook business account so that Lead Ads submissions land in MetoCRM as leads.
Where to find it
Ads AutomationFacebook
Lead form ads on Facebook and Instagram capture a registration inside the ad without sending anyone to a website, which is why they convert well. But while the form sits in Meta's panel nobody answers it in time — and in medical tourism a lead you do not answer within five minutes is effectively dead.
This integration connects the form to MetoCRM: the submission arrives as a lead, is stored with its source, and can trigger an automatic WhatsApp reply within seconds through an automation.
Before you start
- You need admin rights on the Facebook business account and the page.
- The lead form must already exist on Meta's side.
- If you plan to auto-reply, prepare the chat template first.
Step by step
- Log in to the MetoCRM Panel. In the left-hand menu, click on Leads and then select Facebook Leads .

- Click on the Continue with Facebook button on the screen.

- Log in with the user credentials that have access to the business account. Select the business account you want to link. To check the pages you want to be linked to, press the continue with facebook button and then click the edit previus settings button on the screen that opens.

- After your Facebook connection is complete, proceed to the next step, which is linking the ad form. On the same screen, click on the Add Form button.

- Choose the desired ad form from the options available under the Page section in the opened screen.

- Fill in the relevant information in the tabs that appear below. Note: If you tick the Save as a customer checkbox, the leads from your ads will be automatically saved in the patients section, eliminating the need for manual saving. !! After completing your actions, proceed to the given URL address ( https://developers.facebook.com/tools/lead-ads-testing
- ) to send test leads for the connected ad form. This step is necessary for each form connected. Warning: After completing the steps, don't forget to test message reception and sending in the system.
Tips and common mistakes
- Careful Test every form you connect with Meta's Lead Ads Testing tool. Some forms that go live untested silently send nothing, and you only find out when no leads arrive.
- Tip Give each form a distinctive ad code. Automation triggers read that code, and it is also how you see in reporting which campaign brought patients.
- Tip Tick "save as customer" and an ad submission opens as a patient card straight away. Leave it unticked and it waits in the lead list for manual conversion.
Frequently asked questions
I connected the form but no leads arrive.
Send a test submission with the Lead Ads Testing tool. If nothing comes through, you may not have selected that page during authorisation, or the connected Facebook user has lost admin rights on it.
Are older form submissions imported?
No — the integration carries submissions from the moment it is connected. Export the old ones from Meta as CSV and bring them in with bulk upload.
How do I send an automatic message to someone from an ad?
Build a Meto automation: trigger "incoming lead", trigger type "ad code", action your chosen chat template.
