How to add Facebook Messenger
Connecting Facebook page messages to the MetoCRM inbox and choosing which user groups can answer them.
Where to find it
IntegrationFacebook Message
Messages sent to your Facebook page can flow into the MetoCRM inbox exactly like WhatsApp and Instagram. Every enquiry lands on a patient record and becomes measurable, no matter who happens to be running the page.
The connection is made through Facebook page permissions and uses the same permission family as the Instagram DM integration — which is why setting the two up back to back is easiest.
Before you start
- You need admin rights on the Facebook page you are connecting.
- Decide which user groups will answer messages from this page.
Step by step
- Access the MetoCRM panel. Click on Integration > Facebook Messenger in the left main menu.

- In the Facebook Business Messaging section, click on the Add Facebook Page button.

- Select the Facebook account for which access is requested from the screen that opens. You can choose your page selection by clicking on the Edit previous settings. button.

- Once completed, within the MetoCRM page, select the groups that you want to have access to your connected Facebook Messenger page from the area labeled select group .

- If you want to remove the account you have connected to the system, press the Remove button.

- Warning: After completing the steps, don't forget to test message reception and sending in the system.
Tips and common mistakes
- Tip The "edit previous settings" link is the fastest way to fix a wrong page choice made during the first authorisation — you do not have to start over.
- Careful The connection can drop when page admins change or Facebook app permissions are reset. If messages stop arriving, check this screen first.
Frequently asked questions
Can I connect more than one Facebook page?
Yes. Each page behaves like its own line and can have its own user group — the right setup for separate brands or branches.
How do I disconnect?
Press Remove on that account's row. Past conversations stay on the patient records.
