How to use mentions and comments
Leaving internal notes on a patient card and inside the chat screen, and mentioning a colleague.

Comments keep internal knowledge about a patient inside the patient record: "travelling with his wife", "budget is EUR 2,500", "not available before February". As long as that lives in a WhatsApp group or in one consultant's head, it disappears when the consultant does.
There are two places to leave one: the comment area at the bottom of the patient card, and the patient panel in the top right of the chat screen. Both write to the same record.
Step by step
- Click the Customers button from the menu on the left and click on the customers section again.
- Click on the customer name on the page that opens.
- Click on the Comments button at the bottom of the page that opens, write what you want and click the Save button.
- Additionally, you can provide comments while conversing with the customer from the Chat section. To do this, click on the table icon in the top right corner.
- Then, in the window that appears, add your comments at the bottom as you wish, and click the save button.
Tips and common mistakes
- Tip Write a comment as a handover note, not as a message the patient might read: the decision, the reason and the next step.
- Careful Comments are never sent to the patient, but they are stored and readable by anyone who can see that patient. Phrase internal assessments accordingly.
Frequently asked questions
Can the patient see comments?
No. Comments live inside the panel and are not messages to the patient.
Who can read a comment?
Anyone who can see the patient: the assigned consultant, the manager of the patient's group, and Admin/Moderator — the same rule as patient visibility.
Can I edit a comment later?
Adding a new comment is better than editing an old one: the record's timeline stays intact and you can still tell what was known when.
