How to use the incoming lead API
Sending leads to MetoCRM from your own form, landing page or call-centre software through one endpoint: required fields and what happens next.
Where to find it
IntegrationsAPI
A form on your own website, a landing page, call-centre software or a script you wrote — any source that produces leads can send records to MetoCRM through a single endpoint.
The moment a record arrives it enters the CRM's own flow: lead distribution runs, the record lands on a consultant, and any defined automations fire.
Step by step
- Name — required.
- E-mail or phone — at least one is required; you can send both.
- Note — free text from the form, sent either as one string or as a list of fields.
- Language code — the patient's language, matched against the languages defined in the CRM.
- Ad channel code and ad code — which channel and which ad the record came from. Automation triggers and the advertising report read these.
Tips and common mistakes
- Careful Send the phone number with its country code. Numbers without one cannot receive WhatsApp messages, and your automation fails silently.
- Tip Write the ad code exactly as you use it in the automation — a mismatch means the automation never fires and never errors.
- Tip A simple site form does not need the API; the web form integration is quicker to set up. The API is for non-standard sources.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I get the API key?
Integration keys are managed from the panel. Talk to your administrator or support to get set up.
What if the same person is sent twice?
Duplicates can be created. Prevent re-submission on the source side and check periodically by phone number.
Why did my lead not reach a consultant?
With lead distribution off the record waits in the pool. You also will not see it unless you are a group manager on the team it belongs to.
