Email is one of the modules in MetoCRM, the medical tourism CRM built for clinics and health tourism agencies. The sections below cover what it does in day-to-day work.
Email is still where the paperwork happens
Messaging apps win the first conversation, but medical tourism runs on documents: medical history, blood tests, dental x-rays, treatment plans, invoices, visa letters. Those almost always arrive by email, and they almost always arrive in one coordinator's personal mailbox.
Two-way email synchronisation puts that correspondence where the rest of the patient's file already is. Connect Gmail, Outlook, Yandex or another provider and incoming and outgoing mail is mirrored into MetoCRM, attached to the patient card next to the WhatsApp thread and the offer that was sent.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail with two-way synchronisation
- Connect Gmail, Outlook, Yandex and other standard mailboxes
- Forward a connected mailbox to any consultant or group you choose
- Keep correspondence and attachments on the patient record
- Stop switching between a mail client and the CRM all day
Shared mailboxes without shared passwords
Most clinics have an info@ or international@ address that several people are supposed to watch. In practice one person watches it and the rest wait to be forwarded things.
Connecting the mailbox to MetoCRM and routing it to a user group removes that bottleneck: the mail lands in the shared inbox, is assigned like any other conversation, and the reply goes out from the clinic address rather than someone's personal account. Attachments can be tagged with attachment tags so a consultant can find a specific test result months later.
What you need
Email is available on the Meto Sales and Meto Full Force packages and needs the mailbox credentials or an app password from your provider. The email connection guide walks through the settings.
Once connected, email works like any other channel — templates for the messages you send repeatedly, reminders so a quiet thread is picked up again, and automations for the sequences you would otherwise run by hand.
Frequently asked questions
Standard mailboxes including Gmail, Outlook and Hotmail, Yandex and others can be connected. Some providers require an app-specific password rather than your normal one, which is covered in the setup guide.
Two-way. Mail you receive appears in MetoCRM, and replies sent from MetoCRM go out through your mailbox and stay in its sent folder, so nothing is lost if someone also uses the mail client directly.
Yes. Each connected mailbox can be routed to the person or user group that should handle it, which is how clinics split an international enquiries address from an accounts or aftercare address.
