How to define hotels, hospitals and transfer companies
Registering the partners your operation depends on as product suppliers: the fields for hotels, hospitals and transfer companies.

Product Hotels
A medical tourism operation does not run alone: you work with a partner hospital, a hotel and a transfer company. MetoCRM keeps them as product suppliers — Product Hotels, Product Hospitals and Product Transfer Comp. in the left-hand menu.
Until these exist, the selection lists on accommodation and transfer records are empty — which makes this one of the first jobs when setting up the operations side.
Step by step
- Product Hotel: Name, Branch, Address, Phone and Distance. Distance is how far the hotel is from the clinic, used in transfer planning and in what you tell the patient.
- Product Hospital: Hospital Name, Branch and Color. The colour is how you tell hospitals apart on calendars and lists.
- Product Transfer Company: Name, Branch and Color.
- Once defined, these appear in the selection lists on the accommodation and transfer screens.
Tips and common mistakes
- Tip Take the colour field seriously: in an operation working with several hospitals and transfer companies, a calendar without colours becomes unreadable.
- Tip A hotel's distance is one of the first things a patient is told ("ten minutes from the clinic"). Record it properly and the consultant stops guessing.
- Careful Do not leave the branch empty in multi-branch clinics; the branch filters on calendars and lists read that field.
Frequently asked questions
Can I give hotel and hospital staff access to the panel?
The system has specialist roles — hotel manager, hospital/clinic, transfer manager — defined to see only their own area. See roles and permissions.
Why the "product" prefix?
These records are the operation's suppliers and feed the lines of the package you sell, which is why they sit in the product family in the panel.
Should I delete a hotel I no longer work with?
Stop using it rather than deleting it, so past accommodation records stay readable.
