How to start a video call
Starting an instant video call from the chat screen and scheduling a meeting for a later date.
Where to find it

A video call is the fastest way to run a first consultation with a patient abroad: expectations that photographs never settle get settled in one conversation. MetoCRM starts the call from the chat screen, so you never leave the patient record.
There are two modes: an instant meeting, where you generate a link and send it to the patient, and a scheduled meeting with a future date and time zone.
Step by step
- Click the Chat button from the menu on the left.

- Select a person from the page that opens. After selecting the person, click on the Camera icon at the top right.

- Click Start Instant Meeting and send the link that appears on the screen to the customer or schedule a meeting for a different day using the button below.

- If you want to start an instant meeting, please copy the link provided.

- Send it to the relevant person and start your meeting in a new tab by pasting the link into the URL section for easy access.

- If you want to schedule a meeting for later, click on 'Schedule a Meeting' and then choose the meeting time and time zone that suits your schedule.

Tips and common mistakes
- Tip Set a scheduled meeting in the patient's time zone. The single most common cause of missed appointments in medical tourism is a time zone mix-up.
- Tip Write a comment on the patient card straight after the call. Expectations discussed but never written down leave the next consultant starting from zero.
Frequently asked questions
Does the patient need to install an app?
No. The link you send opens in a browser; the patient clicks it and joins.
Are calls recorded?
Video calls are not recorded automatically. Write the outcome of the call onto the patient card as a comment.
How does the patient remember a scheduled meeting?
Send the link in chat and also set a reminder: the reminder prompts you, and you send the patient a short message before the call.
